ABOUT THE AWARDS

Applicants are judged based on technology innovation and uniqueness, market research (analyst reports, media coverage, customer case studies), hard performance stats, and competitive differentiators. The awards recognize leaders in cybersecurity, DevOps, big data and consumer technology.

DOES MY TECHNOLOGY HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE PRODUCT QUALIFY?

  • Is your product truly innovative? All hardware/software product entries must have been announced formally in order to qualify. They can be proof of concept, but must have market research and development traction.

WHAT WILL WINNERS RECEIVE? 

WHAT IS THE COST TO SUBMIT?

  • Each entry into one category of the Tech Ascension Awards is $375 USD.

  • You may enter into multiple categories if applicable for an additional fee of $150 USD. Use the discount code "ADD". 

  • Once payment is submitted, entries are confirmed and non-refundable. Payments must be cleared within one week of the closing date. Once payment has been received, entry/ies will be passed for review to the judges.

DEADLINES? WHEN WILL FINALISTS AND WINNERS BE ANNOUNCED? 

  • The home page lists all upcoming submission deadline dates.

  • Upcoming winner's notifications: Cybersecurity award winners will be notified Aug. 15.

  • Winners will receive the following recognition: 

    • Company name and product/thought leader name featured on the Tech Ascension website​. Link back to a desired web page. 

    • 2019 winners logo.

    • Press release template.

    • Additional promotional packages will be made available to finalists and winners.

WHAT ARE THE OFFICIAL RULES?

WHAT MAKES THE TECH ASCENSION AWARDS DIFFERENT THAN OTHERS?

  • All information provided will be kept confidential. Only the judges will see information provided. Winners' descriptions will be approved by the vendor prior to publishing.

  • Tech Ascension Awards categories are subject to addition or change at any time. 

  • Entries can be made by representatives (external marketing, public relations, etc.) or by companies themselves. When entries are submitted on behalf of clients by external parties, client sign-off and approval is assumed. Once the entry has been submitted, no refunds will be provided.

  • Entries must be submitted via the official entry submission form on the Tech Ascension Awards website. No other avenue of entry will be accepted.

  • If insufficient details (such as contact info) are given on application, entrants may be eliminated from the judging.

  • The panel of judges reserve the right to re-categorize entries if, in their opinion, another category would be more appropriate.

  • Any entry may be withdrawn for any reason up until one week before the initial closing date upon written email request. However, any entry fees are non-refundable.

The Tech Ascension Awards aim to be grounded in facts are not pay-to-play awards. 

Two panels (enterprise and consumer) of veteran industry experts will judge submissions based on:

  • Well-written, clear product and company descriptions that present facts (stats and data points over marketing language)

  • Innovation and uniqueness (industry firsts or significant improvements upon existing technology are highly valued)

  • Supporting documents (media coverage links, case studies, analyst report mentions, etc.)
